{Hearstring Designs Challenge #2}

Hey Hey fellow crafters.  I apologize for the delay in getting the Challenge for February up here on the Challenge blog.  We were having so difficulties but Whoop Whoop it has been taken care of.  
Scrappin Madge here and today I would like to present this month's challenge.  Here it is..... 

 Roses are Red, Violets are blue... what can you craft using scissors and glue? For this months challenge create ANYTHING to give to your Valentine but must have straight pins, flowers and have the color RED on their project.

I made some artist trading cards for a class that I taught on Ustream on Thursday and this was one of the ATC cards.  I used the Vanilla cardstock that was in the kit and cut it to 2.5 x 2.5 and covered it with a piece of Vintage Wallpaper that has an embossed look.  I then took some brown ink and a stamp with wording and stamped random around the card.  I then used some of the stickers from the February Sweet Essence kit from Authentique and the red flower from the kit as well. I stamped on the white flower using the same brown writing to tie everything in.  I took a fabric covered button and placed in the center of the flower.  Some fun red ruffle trim and two stick pins.  That completes the Artist Trading Card.  Here is a close up of the wallpaper and the stamping.

HEARTSTRING DESIGNS JANUARY CHALLENGE

Hello My Crafty Friends
Welcome to the Heartstrings Designs January Challenge, for this challenge you are to use hearts in your Mini Album that you get in your Heartstring Designs Vintage Wonder Challenge since Valentines is around the corner..

I did a video to show you how I decorated the mini album that comes in the kit.  I used embellishments I had from my stash and also used some the left over paper to make flowers and pockets in the mini album.  I had soo much fun making this.  I still have picture to add to my mini, so join in and challenge yourself to come up something creative. As long as you use hearts in your mini are good to go.
